Amazing news self published author Stuart Webb is creating some extra special Limited Edition doodled copies of Lyme Hall for Doodled Books collectors. Yes this book has been in the pipeline for most collectors of UK first edition books for quite some time. Why? Well please read on as this is a story within and story.

The team at Doodled Books remembers an article in the BMC (Book and Magazine Collector) a few years ago by a budding journalist called Stuart Webb. What was the article about? Well it was about two self published authors called Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams and their quest to find a major publisher. The column Stuart wrote was about New Collectables and what could be the next big thing. We remember thinking well lets get a copy and find out what it's all about. Once we did we soon realised what huge potential the title had and the rest is history. Or so we thought!

Stuart obviously has an eye for talent and decided to make his own dreams a reality. The result the stunning Lyme Hall which is already creating a stir in it's own right in the collectors market. In fact inside the December 2010 issue of The Book and Magazine Collector there is an article all about it by Jonathan Scott. He chose it as one of the New Wave of New Collectables. Now we are not comparing this books story to The Highfield Mole but is this deja-vu? Will a major publisher take it on? Will the film rights sell? Who knows but we give the book our backing.

Doodled Books has an exclusive scoop of a RARE DOODLED LIMITED EDITION. You will not be able to get hold of these rare books anywhere else. Each book will be signed, lined, dated, doodled and numbered. There will be 5 variants of doodle. So don't miss out on this hot self published collectible of 2010!

This budding writer improves with every story - evocative and immediately intriguing, this is certainly one to watch -- Jonathan Scott Book and Magazine Collector Magazine

A gloomy mansion, a mysterious lady in white, murderous goings-on... Lyme Hall has all the ingredients of a traditional thriller. But Stuart Webb's modern young protagonist will appeal to today's reader, making this a worthy follow up to Aurora's Tears. -- Steve Augarde Smarties Children's Book Prize award winner

Product Description
Lyme Hall combines the gothic feel of a classic ghost story with the mystery of a modern Agatha Christie for children. A book that collects you up from the very first page and transports you along with an effortless ease to deliver you at the last word feeling both thrilled by the journey and fulfilled by the final destination. Rose is happy with her life: an expensive house in the city, loving parents and a best friend she can trust. She wants for nothing and lives life to the full. Then, without warning, her perfect world is torn in two. Forced to move to a country house she hates with a father she no longer understands, Rose is lost and alone. And when she begins to hear things that aren't there, see things that can't be real, her father doesn't want to know; all he cares about are the deer that are disappearing from the estate. Maybe, just maybe, if she can solve the mysteries herself, she can finally make him listen.
