Brilliant First Edition Book!
Wow this is a book that should be on every collectors bookshelf - however as we only have a limited amount of them I doubt we'll have these for long and they are selling out fast! The team at Doodled Books can't speak highly enough of Patricia Debney her writing style is amazing and we are thrilled that she is a new affiliate author!
From the start we knew this book is going to be huge this year so for our customers we had a special Limited Edition of only 100 copies made - and guess what it's actually the true 1/1/1 as it was printed before the trade edition only last week!
So what's so different about these copies?
1.This hardbacks dustjacket has a gloss finish and has the words Limited Edition on it.
2. The cloth is black and lettering is gold (the trade edition is blue and silver).
3. It has the words Limited Edition on the title page.
4. Each book is signed, lined, dated, numbered and doodled.
Now this book is tipped for the top - currently all the standard trade hardbacks have sold out pre-publication (May 2007). As an extra each book comes with a letter of authenticity and a rare signed launch invitation!!!

“What happens when you die?” Lewis asks.
Marilyn hardly knows how to answer her son, or how to answer any of the questions suddenly triggered by her father’s death. Her new friend Hilary is an unfailing support…but as the women grow closer, something completely unexpected shakes both families.
Steeped in love, death, lust, childhood, parenthood, obsession – and the Wizard of Oz – this two-part novel follows Marilyn and Hilary through the most transforming six days of their lives.
Patricia Debney was born in Texas and now lives in Kent. She is the author of a collection of prose poetry, How to Be a Dragonfly (Smith Doorstop Books), the overall winner of the 2004 Poetry Business Competition. Her short stories and poetry have appeared in various anthologies and journals, including New Writing, Tales of the Decongested, and the Forward Anthology of Best Poems, as well as online. Losing You is her first novel.
"Only after floating out on the lucid clarity of Patricia Debney’s prose do you realise gradually what unsettling depths have opened up beneath you - the ruthlessness of love and loss and need, the distances between us, men and women, and the terribly porous borders of identity. The mystery at the heart of Losing You is one inside us all, and Patricia Debney leads us into the labyrinth with grace and subtlety." – Philip Gross
“...exquisite writing moving with surprising lightness and depth that I've had to read and re-read...” – Dreamcatcher
“there is a magic beneath the lines that will not be easy to forget.” – NHI Review
